Zach Nielsen

Pastor 

Zach is a member of the Elder team and provides leadership and vision for the music ministry. He also oversees leadership development and is part of the teaching team. 

Zach is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and Covenant Theological Seminary. He is married to Kim and they have four beautiful children. Zach is passionate about teaching the Bible, discipleship, music, exercise, and spending time with his family. Zach has 14 years of local church ministry experience and longs to see Jesus' church fully engaged to it's maximum potential.

Nathan Hobert

Pastor 

Nate is a member of the Elder team and leads the campus ministry as well as the overall outreach ministry in the context of our City Groups. He is also part of the teaching team. 

Nate is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and Reformed Theological Seminary. Having ministered in Iowa and Florida on three different campuses Nate has a passion for students and a desire for them to be transformed by the Gospel and enfolded into a Church. Nate has been married to Amanda for 10 years and has 3 children, Grace, Sam, and Elise.

Scott Sterner

Pastor 

Scott is a member of the Elder team and specifically provides leadership for the overall missional development, communications, and operations of the church. He is also part of the teaching team. 

Scott is a graduate of Iowa State University presently completing his Masters at Covenant Theological Seminary. Scott has 15 years of experience in both Executive and Worship Pastor roles. Growing up the son of a university Professor, Scott has lived and ministered his entire life in university communities. Scott is passionate about the potential Madison presents for mobilizing new generations for Kingdom ministry on a local and global scale. Scott has been married to Carrie for 17 years and has five children; Hannah, Zach, Elizabeth, Isaac and Aaron.
